About SENER
SENER Group and the beginning of our internationalitation
1986
Jorge Sendagorta, SENER’s current President, joined the company’s management team. He began working closely with Enrique de Sendagorta, his father, on a process of institutionalizing the company and professionalizing its management, running in parallel with a generational changeover among the shareholders.
That same year, SENER begun its stockholding strategy in industrial initiatives based in its own technological developments that ended up with the creation of SENER Grupo de Ingeniería holding.
1991
SENER opened an office in Lisbon that was later to become the headquarters of its SENER Portugal Division.
1996
SENER expanded its engineering activities to include the environmental sector.
